Pet coke offers from the USA and Saudi Arabia have climbed $20/t w-o-w in line with the rally in global coal prices due to the Russia-Ukraine crisis. The price for US-origin pet coke (6.5% sulphur) is assessed at $200/t, while Saudi-origin (9% sulphur) material is at $185/t on CNF India basis. The freight cost from the USA to India for a supramax vessel is $60/t, down $4/t w-o-w.
