IF route rebar prices remained supported today, with prices increasing in the range of INR 100-500/t in most markets, while manufacturers based in the western region have sharply increased offers by up to INR 1,000/t d-o-d owing to adequate bookings and shortage of different sizes of rebar. However, purchase enquiries in some regions were moderate and firm billet prices provided support to rebar prices.
