China adds net metallurgical coke capacity of 4.57 mnt

China has added 8.67 mnt of new coke-making capacity while it has eliminated 4.10 mnt of capacity between 15 Jan-15 Feb’22, thereby registering a net increase of 4.57 mnt of capacity. Jiangsu province has added net coke capacity of 1.70 mnt during the period, followed by Inner Mongolia with 0.75 mnt and Shanxi with 0.22 mnt.
