Chinese steelmakers have kept heavy plate export offers at $875/t CFR, stable w-o-w. Healthy demand from the domestic shipbuilding segment and rising global plate prices are providing support to export prices. Furthermore, industry participants opine that China might keep the price momentum strong, with anticipation of a further hike in the near future.
