The domestic rebar market today exhibited mixed trends as prices increased by INR 200-500/t in some markets, while sharply surging in Delhi/NCR by up to INR 1,000/t, SteelMint assessment shows. However, transactions varied from region to region. Although in the western region manufacturers observed healthy trades as shortage of some sizes supported the price hike today, in other regions average trades in rebar pushed manufacturers to alter prices.
