Portside prices of US 6900 NAR coal declined further to INR 17,800/t at Kandla Port as against INR 18,600/t on 11 Feb’22. Import prices are assessed at $225/t CIF India basis. Limited buying appetite of the cement plants amid competitive domestic pet coke prices have resulted in limited imports of US coal. A total of 0.13 mnt of US coal is set to arrive till 7 Mar’21, CoalMint data shows.
