Raipur-based steel wire rod manufacturers saw limited trade enquiries and transactions over the last couple of days and so prices today fell by up to INR 800/t to INR 52,700/t exw. Weak sentiments in the semi-finished steel market resulted in dull trading activity that pressured the resellers to offer trade discounts of INR 1,200/t, sources informed SteelMint.
