Australia: Anglo American to restart Grosevnor coking coal mine after 18 months

Mining giant Anglo American has received regulatory confirmation to restart its Grosvenor coking coal mine in Australia that was closed following a gas incident in May’20. However, the company has kept it’s coal production guidance for FY22 (ending in June) unchanged at 20-22 mnt due to the impact of Covid-19 in early 2022 and a later-than-expected restart of operations at Grosvenor.
