India: Major ferro chrome producer concludes deal at INR 108,500/t

One of the major producers has reportedly sold 700 t of ferro chrome (HC60%, 10-70mm) to a domestic stainless steel maker at INR 108,500/t exw-Jajpur. The deal price is higher compared to SteelMint’s last assessment price of INR 105,100/t exw. The market is bullish and prices are expected to rise further amid increased inquiries from China.
