Japan: Aichi Steel lifts stainless steel prices by 15% from February contract

Japanese steel manufacturer Aichi Steel has raised its selling prices for stainless steel (shaped steel/round bars) by 15% from the February contract. The company decided to increase prices because of the cost-push. It will further consider revisions in its product prices depending on the future trend of raw material prices, the company president Takahiro Fujioka said.
