ESL Steel Ltd. has raised long steel prices by INR 1,000/t ($13/t) from today, sources informed SteelMint. The effective price for rebars (12-32mm) stands at INR 63,000-63,500/t ($839-846/t) and wire rods (5.5-6mm) at around INR 61,000-61,500/t ($813-819/t). Prices are on exy-Delhi basis, excluding GST at 18%. Cost push alongside robust demand and healthy order bookings have contributed to the price hike.
