Sponge iron, PDRI, prices in Karnataka’s Bellary rose by INR 600/t, whereas iron ore lump-based DRI (CDRI) prices increased by INR 700/t on 16 Feb’22.
- 9,100 t of PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 33,000-33,100/t as against offers at INR 33,200/t exw.
- 4,800 t of CDRI deals were reported at INR 33,500-33,700/t ($446-449/t) exw.
- Healthy demand was observed in the market today along with a sudden surge in prices.
