SAIL conducted an auction today for 104,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe 60%-indicative) from its Barsua iron ore mines in Odisha which received bids for the entire material offered at INR 5,040/t loaded, including royalty, DMF, NMET and additional premium, SteelMint learnt from sources. The last auction for similar grade material held on 7 Feb’22 had failed to fetch any response, with the base price at INR 5,000/t.
