Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan increased significantly by RMB 50/t ($8/t) d-o-d on 11 Feb’22. Prices stood at RMB 4,740/t ($746/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for May’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,905/t ($771/t), a fall of RMB 50/t ($8/t), d-o-d.
