Portside prices of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) coal have risen further to INR 15,800/t at Gangavaram Port in a backdrop of surging coal prices globally. RB1 (6000 NAR) grade coal prices were at $193/t FOB, up $18/t w-o-w. Prices of readily available stocks of RB2 grade coal stood higher at INR 16,100/t, while cargoes for Mar’22 delivery were priced at INR 16,500/t at the portside, as per trader sources.
