Melting scrap prices saw a slight recovery at key locations of the country on 8 Feb’22. Due to a marginal hike in semi-finished steel prices, scrap buyers have raised their bids to secure adequate quantities. Except Alang, prices in the other markets have improved. However, in the Chennai market in south India, scrap prices remained unchanged.
