India: Raipur mills raise domestic pellet offers up to INR 500/t ($7/t)

Raipur-based pellet producers have raised their offers by INR 500/t today. The current offer for Fe 64/63% pellet stands at INR 12,500/t ($167/t) exw from INR 12,000/t ($161/t) on 4 Feb’22. On the other hand, Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd has increased offers by INR 300/t ($4/t) to INR 12,600/t ($169/t) exw from INR 12,300/t ($165/t) exw. Recovery in exports amidst higher global prices and recent trades in the domestic market have pushed up offers, SteelMint notes.
