A total of 20,000 t of South African chrome concentrates were traded at China’s Tianjin Port on 30 Jan’22. Around 10,000 t of 40-42% grade (having Cr/Fe ratio of 1.35) was concluded at RMB 34/dmtu ($5.34/dmtu). Another deal for 42-44% grade for the same quantity (with Cr/Fe ratio of 1.5) was concluded at RMB 38/dmtu ($6/dmtu).
