Portside prices of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) coal remained largely unchanged at INR 15,500/t at Gangavaram Port today with limited ready stocks on offer. With pre-booked cargoes coming in, several traders continued to offer index-linked prices for Mar’22 vessel arrivals, while sponge iron manufacturers adopted a wait and watch approach.
