State-owned SAIL’s auction for 104,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe 60%-indicative) from the Barsua mines in Odisha failed to fetch any response from buyers, as per latest reports. The due date for submission of bids was 7 Feb’22. The base price of the material offered was INR 5,000/t FOR, which included royalty, DMF, NMET and additional premium.
