Wire rods manufacturers in Raipur, central India, kept prices stable today at INR 53,000/t exw d-o-d. Steel prices are deriving support from surging raw material prices. However, high prices for wire rods impacted bulk transactions in the spot market as buyers turned cautious about procurement. Suppliers offered trade discounts of INR 1,000-1,300/t in order to liquidate material.
