Melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market rose further by INR 100/t to a new high, SteelMint assessment shows. Heavy melting scrap(HMS 80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,700/t exy. Sellers raised offers today due to firming up of prices in other markets along with active buying enquiries in the late hours of yesterday’s trading session.
