India: AM/NS increases galvanised coil prices by INR 2,000/t for Feb’22 sales

Private integrated steel producer Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NSI) announced an increase of INR 2,000/t in list prices of galvanised plain coil (GPC) for early-Feb’22 despatches. The effective price, after revision, of galvanised coil (0.8mm, 120gsm) stands at INR 77,500-78,000/t exy-Mumbai. Rising base material prices along with those of coating materials triggered the price hike, SteelMint learnt from sources.
