JSW Steel, India’s largest private sector steel manufacturer with an installed capacity of 14.3 MnT, has produced 3.1 MnT crude steel in Q1 FY15, which has moved up by 8% from previous year during the same period.
Company’s officials have recently mentioned that rising imports of Iron ore is owing to acute shortage in domestic market. It is expected to import 6 MnT in FY15.
