Melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market rose by INR 400/t today. Heavy melting scrap(HMS 80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,500/t exy, standing at a three-month high, as per SteelMint assessment. Attachment scrap prices are at INR 41,500/t exy. Sellers raised offers today owing to marginal rise in transactions in semi-finished steel during the late hours of yesterday’s trading session.
