Domestic ferrous scrap prices witnessed a marginal increase by around INR 100-300/t in most regional markets on 1 Feb’22. Supporting semi-finished prices pushed up scrap prices slightly. On the contrary, a few markets in Gujarat saw minor price correction following the decrease in semi-finished prices in yesterday’s trading session, SteelMint notes.
