India: Jalna mills raise rebar prices by up to INR 1,500/t

Jalna, Maharashtra-based induction furnace mills have increased prices of rebar by INR 1,500/t today. The current offer for Fe 500 grade (10-25mm) is assessed at INR 55,500/t exw. Prices increased sharply owing to high raw material costs along with transactions of 7,000 t of rebar reported today, SteelMint learnt from sources.
