Automobile component producers based in western India conducted around 1,200 t of CR busheling scrap auction on 24 Jan’21. Buyers booked the entire quantity at INR 40,500-41000/t exw. Besides, auto parts end-cutting material received bids at INR 39,000-39,500/t exw, while another auction for CR busheling scrap from Uttrakhand received bids at INR 42,750/t exw. Slight shortage in the domestic market led to a marginal rise in bids over last week.
