Domestic ferrous scrap prices showed mixed trends on 28 Jan’22. Prices remained supported in western and southern India following an uptick in semi-finished steel prices and measured supply, especially in the Chennai market. In the northern region, however, prices fell marginally due to declining steel prices on pick up in finished steel movement amid adequate supply, SteelMint notes.
