State-owned steel producer Vizag Steel conducted a pooled iron auction on 25 Jan’22. Buyers booked the entire quantity of 1,800 t at INR 40,700/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 2,300/t compared with the previous auction on 18 Jan at which 1,550 t of pooled iron had been booked at INR 38,400/t exw.
