Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the fourth consecutive day at RMB 4,480/t ($704/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 27 Jan’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s rebar futures contract for May’22 delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed today at RMB 4,673/t ($734/t), witnessing a decrease of RMB 21/t ($3/t), d-o-d.
