Pakistan: Imported scrap trades improve, prices remain range-bound

Around 6,000 t of UK/EU-origin shredded scrap in containers was booked at $545-550/t CFR Qasim recently.
In another deal, 2,000 t of US-origin shredded scrap in container traded at $535-540/t CFR, Pakistan respectively.
SteelMint’s assessment for UK/Europe shredded scrap import prices stands at $540-545/t CFR, a slight drop of $3/t on a d-o-d basis.
