Iran: Domestic billet, rebar prices edge up on active buying

Iran’s domestic billet prices rose on active buying soon after the restrictions on billet purchase was removed as mentioned by SteelMint last week. Following the hike in steel billet prices, rebar prices also witnessed a jump, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billet prices rose by 1,500 Rial/Kg to 139,000 Rial/Kg against 24 Jan’22.
• Rebar prices stood at 158,000 Rial/Kg on 27 Jan, a sharp rise of 8,000 Rial/Kg.
