Melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang rose by INR 600/t d-o-d on 27 Jan’22. Heavy melting scrap (HMS 80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,000/t, while attachment scrap prices are at INR 41,000/t exy. Sellers raised offers today following the hike in prices of semis across different regions of the country, SteelMint notes.
