Steel inventory at key Chinese mills continue to rise in mid-Jan’22 – CISA

Steel inventory at key iron and steel enterprises under the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) was recorded at 13.1501 mnt in the first 10 days of Jan’22, an increase of 227,700 t or 1.76% on the month. Compared with the same period in Dec, steel inventory decreased by 419,900 t; while in contrast with the same period of 2021, inventory decreased by 893,000 tons, or 6.36%.
