Domestic rebar prices increased by up to INR 600/t parallelly with the hike in semi-finished steel prices. The market observed burgeoning trade volumes but buying enquiries have remained limited due to rising prices over the last few days. All regional markets witnessed price hikes except the Chennai market. However, near-term prices are likely to increase over cost pressures, trader sources informed.
