India: Sponge iron prices rise by INR 600/t in Raipur

Pellet-based DRI (P-DRI, FeM 80%) prices rose by INR 600/t to INR 33,600/t exw Raipur today, as per SteelMint assessment. Producers are keeping prices high on rising raw material and billet prices amidst healthy orders.

• 6,000 t of P-DRI (FeM 79-80%) deals were reported at INR 33,300-33,600/t versus offers at INR 33,500-33,800/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
