SAIL has scheduled an auction for 3,000 t of steel grade pig iron from the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in Chhattisgarh for 25 Jan’22. At the previous auction on 6 Jan, 6,000 t of pig iron was booked at a weighted average price of INR 38,750/t exw, as per SteelMint reports. Bid prices increased by INR 830/t compared to an earlier auction on 22 Dec.
