JSW Steel’s brownfield 5 mn t/year expansion at the Vijayanagar works has been progressing well, with civil works being undertaken at the site. The project is likely to be completed by FY’24. JSW’s downstream expansion projects at Vijayanagar, Vasind and Tarapur are in advanced stages of implementation, with several lines having been commissioned during Apr-Dec’21.
