SAIL held an auction for 750 t of steel grade pig iron on 21 Jan’22 from its IISCO plant in West Bengal. Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 42,800/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 4,500/t compared with the previous auction on 17 Dec, which had concluded at a weighted average price of INR 38,300/t exw.
