Wire rod manufacturers in Raipur kept prices stable at INR 50,200/t exw on 21 Jan’22. Prices remain supported on higher raw material prices, but higher prices for wire rod impacted buying enquiries in the spot market, as buyers are cautious and the rate of procurement of material on high offers is slow. Low buying pressurised the suppliers to offer trade discounts over INR 1,000/t, as per sources.
