Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur hiked prices today by INR 600/t to INR 52,600/t exw for basic 150 mm channel. Discounts floated in the spot market hovered at around INR 700-1,000/t. Rise in steel billet prices in the region along with moderate buying enquiries for heavy structural steel prompted suppliers to hike offers, SteelMint learnt from sources.
