Russia: Ferrous scrap exports down 12%, y-o-y, in Jan-Nov’21

Russia’s ferrous scrap exports in Jan-Nov’21 declined by 12%, as per SteelMint data.
The country exported 3.59 mn t of scrap against 4.09 mn t during the same period last year.
Turkey was the largest importer with 2 mn t, followed by South Korea with 1 mn t.
On a m-o-m basis, Russia exported 220,000 t in Nov, down 21% against 280,000 t in Oct.
