China’s ferro alloys production falls by over 4%, y-o-y, in CY’21

According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), ferro alloys production in China stood at 34.755 mn t in CY’21 – down 4.4% y-o-y. Production fell due to reduction in capacity, staggered production, time-based power restrictions and reduction in electricity concessions as part of the strict implementation of the ‘dual control’ policy.
