China: Rebar production drops by 5%, y-o-y, in CY’21

China’s rebar production stood at 252 mn t in CY’21, a year-on-year decrease of 5% from 265 mn t in CY’20, National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data shows. However, on a monthly basis, rebar production was recorded at 20.03 mn t in Dec’21, up 13% m-o-m compared to 17.77 mn t in Nov.
