Induction furnace route steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur increased prices today by INR 200/t to INR 50,200/t exw, with trade discounts at a stable level of around INR 500/t. However, traders observed weak buying enquiries on high prices which led to discounts being pushed up to INR 1,000-1,200/t in order to liquidate material. Continuous rise in raw material costs remains a major factor behind price rise.
