- Prices rose as domestic offers gained by up to INR 1,000/t ($13/t), w-o-w.
- However, export demand continues to remain weak, as the major buyers held purchases citing higher offers.
- Buyers are shifting preference towards substitute feedstock other than sponge iron, SteelMint notes.
