HR strip (patra) prices increased by INR 200/t in Raipur and INR 300/t in Mandi Gobindgarh today. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 50,000/t exw-Raipur, while prices are at INR 51,300/t exw-Mandi Gobindgarh, excluding GST. Pipe prices in Raipur were at INR 49,200/t last week. “There is shortage of billets in the Mandi market,” a trader source shared with SteelMint.
