Melting scrap prices witnessed minor changes across markets on 19 Jan’22, as per SteelMint assessment. Prices saw a marginal uptick in Mandi Gobindgarh, north India. Meanwhile, most markets in the western region saw suppliers adjusting scrap prices due to poor offtake of finished steel. However, prices in general remained unchanged on routine procurement.
