- A Jharkhand-based private mill conducted an auction for 2,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 18 Jan’22. The auction concluded at INR 43,900-44,000/t ex-plant. Bids rose compared to an earlier auction for 2,000 t which had concluded at around INR 43,500/t ex-plant.

- Current offers in Durgpaur are at INR 44,200-44,300/t ex-plant.
